An upright decorative evergreen herb with extremely aromatic, needle-like green leaves. Small light blue flowers are borne on tall spikes in spring and summer. To harvest rosemary, pick the leaves in the morning as the essential oils are more abundant. Add sprigs of rosemary leaves to roasted vegetables/potato dishes. Add to meat dishes, particularly roasted lamb or chop finely and add to stuffings.
Plant in a sheltered position, in full sun and in well-drained soil. Prefers a light sandy soil.
Height/Spread: 1-1.5m x 1.-1.5m in 5 to 10 years
