The japanese spirea 'Magic Carpet' is a low-growing, deciduous shrub. The foliage is borne red to then turn gold as it matures. In late spring and eraly summer, it flowers abundantly, in pink, flat sprays. Good for pollinators. RHS Award of Garden Merit. Height and Spread: 0.6 x 0.9 m. Position: Full sun to partial shade. Soil: moist but well-drained.
