Helleborus Winter Moonbeam is a captivating perennial plant that thrives in the Irish climate. It is known for its delicate beauty and resilience, making it a popular choice among gardeners.

Height/Spread: Winter Moonbeam typically grows to a height of around 1 to 1.5 feet (30 to 45 centimeters) and has a spread of about 1 to 1.5 feet (30 to 45 centimeters).

Position: This plant prefers a partially shaded position in the garden, ideally receiving morning sunlight and afternoon shade. It can tolerate full shade but may have reduced flowering in such conditions.

Soil: Winter Moonbeam thrives in well-draining, fertile soil. It prefers slightly acidic to neutral soil with a pH range of 6.0 to 7.0. Adding organic matter, such as compost, to the soil before planting can enhance its growth.

Flowering Season: Winter Moonbeam produces beautiful flowers from late winter to early spring, adding a touch of elegance to the garden during the colder months. The blooms have a soft, pale coloration, often resembling delicate stars.

Uses: This hellebore variety is ideal for adding interest and color to shady areas of the garden, such as woodland gardens or under deciduous trees. It works well when planted in borders, mixed beds, or containers. The blooms also make lovely cut flowers for indoor arrangements.
