The hydrangea is an ever popular shrub that suits any garden style. This deciduous shrub bears, bright green, serrated leaves and very large flowerheads in summer ans early autumn. These can be left on the plant overwinter as they are still highly decorative when dry. They should be pruned, then, in March. 'Teller' is a lacecap variety (flattened flowerheads).
Flowering season: Mid summer to early autumn
Height and spread: 1.5 x 1.5m.
Best grown in partial shade, in a moist compost.
Uses: Courtyard, Borders and beds, Cottage garden, cut flowers
