The ajuga or bugle 'Chocolate Chip' is an evergreen, mat-forming perennial with glossy dark-green-purple leaves. In late spring and early summer, it produces short spikes of blue flowers. It is a bit less vigorous than the other varieties, therefore a preferred choice for smaller gardens.

Height/Spread: 0.2 m x 0.5 m.

Aspect: Full sun to full shade

Soil: Moist but well-drained

Uses: Cottage garden, Low maintenance, Borders and beds, banks and slopes, Ground cover

Good for pollinators.
